Financial Analyst Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the AMZL Finance team and business leaders by producing and delivering high-quality financial analysis.
• Facilitate corrective actions and informed decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Define business and financial metrics that align with worldwide reporting processes and local business needs.
• Build and maintain processes to capture and analyze key financial metrics on a weekly interval.

Requirements

• 1+ years of finance experience.
• 1+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• Proficiency in standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• 1+ years of experience building financial and operational reports or data sets that inform business decision-making.
