Financial Analyst III

Responsibilities

• Support financial aspects of FM-PRO and Capital Finance Departments
• Manage month-end processes including journal postings, depreciation, and settlement jobs
• Perform capital project accounting and maintain Internal Orders and Order Groups
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations, continuity schedules, and account analysis
• Handle foundation billings for externally funded capital projects
• Update and maintain SAP Fixed Assets Sub ledger
• Support interim and annual audit requirements for capital reporting
• Manage external reporting for Statistics Canada
• Enforce policies and procedures regarding capital spending

Requirements

• Completed or actively working towards a Canadian CPA designation
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in accounting or auditing with financial modeling exposure
• Experience with efficiency improvements
• Extensive knowledge of Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning new software

• Experience working in a healthcare environment
