About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and analysis packages to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct monthly variance and trend analysis, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned portfolios.
- Review and validate Laboratory Medicine Program (LMP) billing across Epic and external systems to ensure accuracy and alignment with funding.
- Coordinate the annual operating budget process and maintain rolling forecasts throughout the fiscal year.
- Collaborate with program managers and directors to identify cost-saving or revenue-enhancement opportunities.
- Model and analyze large volumes of clinical data to support case volume and personnel planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and accounting, preferably in a healthcare or complex multi-funded environment.
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent program.
- CPA designation obtained or currently in progress.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP or clinical systems such as SAP, Epic, or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience leveraging AI-powered tools to streamline routine finance tasks and FP&A workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional clinical and corporate teams.
