Financial Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Support the KPLSS II Contract through division accounting, budgetary processes, and fiscal forecasting
• Analyze and forecast division fiscal data, including programs, operations, budgets, expenses, and profit and loss
• Perform month-end close processes, including project/account reconciliation and monthly financial data analysis
• Prepare quarterly reforecasts of sales, costs, and profit & loss
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, FAR, GAAP, and CAS requirements
• Assist management with pricing, proposal development, and annual direct/indirect cost budget planning
• Coordinate with billing staff to ensure accurate customer invoicing and support collection efforts
• Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets to generate required reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of related finance experience
• Experience in government contracting with multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M)
• Strong understanding of accounting transactions, cost reviews, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work on-site at Kennedy Space Center (remote flexibility is not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CostPoint, COGNOS, SharePoint, or Maximo
