Financial Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial research to prepare accurate analyses, variance reports, and long-term forecasts
• Develop annual budgets for assigned customers and identify cost variances or overruns
• Prepare forecasts to support estimates at completion and total funding requirements
• Reconcile open commitments with procurement and subcontracts data to ensure data integrity
• Design and implement management tools and dashboards to monitor performance and control program budgets
• Coordinate with Accounting to produce accurate customer invoices and support collection efforts
• Support monthly financial customer reviews and provide comprehensive financial briefings to leadership
• Participate in cost proposal development for various construction and target projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive, job-related financial analysis experience
• Proficiency in integrated financial software, advanced Excel, and standard word processing applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional organizational abilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Ability for occasional domestic travel as required by project needs
