Financial Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Consolidate financials from manufacturing site cost centers and communicate business performance to leadership.
• Manage Month-End Close processes, including journal entries, spending/headcount reviews, and variance analyses.
• Develop budgets and forecasts in support of the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecasts for cost centers.
• Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and provide insights to influence business decisions.
• Identify and propose process improvements to drive operational efficiencies and improved business performance.
• Support ad hoc internal and external audit requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of full-time finance and/or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and variance analysis skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with multiple levels of the organization.
• Ability to quickly learn system software and databases such as SAP, Essbase, and Business Objects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or plant operations.
• Direct experience with SAP, Business Objects, and Hyperion SmartView/Essbase.
