Financial Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Track, process, and distribute recurring financial deliverables.
• Develop annual budgets for assigned customers under the guidance of senior team members.
• Generate weekly and monthly financial reports comparing actual performance against budget targets.
• Identify cost variances and overruns, flagging discrepancies to managers for review.
• Prepare forecasts to support estimates at completion and total funding requirements.
• Reconcile open commitments with procurement and subcontracts data to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with Accounting to produce accurate customer invoices and support collection efforts.
• Support monthly financial customer reviews and briefings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Entry-level professional experience with a strong foundation in financial and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel, spreadsheet models, and integrated financial software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Ability to travel occasionally as required by project needs.
