Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs related to financial and operational goals
• Prepare detailed variance analysis reports comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts
• Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of financial plans and strategies
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making
• Provide regular performance reports and presentations to management and stakeholders
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Planning & Performance Management, or Business Systems Analysis
• Experience within the Oil & Gas Upstream sector preferred
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
• Experience in transformation programs, value capture initiatives, and KPI development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software
• Experience with Power BI or SAP is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
