Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Encore Boston Harbor.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly standard management reports through analytics and project management.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, financial analyses, and productivity/labor analysis.
• Analyze financial results and monitor divisional spending in accordance with budgets and strategic plans.
• Maintain and improve efficient data sourcing procedures and data repositories.
• Prepare ad hoc reports, graphs, and metrics to support various departments.
• Monitor regional gaming market financial trends and competitor market share.
• Provide accurate and timely analytics to managers and executives to increase cost management efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven experience with planning and project management.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
