Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial variances including inventory, cycle counts, and budget vs. actuals
• Lead annual budget preparation and monthly forecast processes with plant staff
• Perform weekly and monthly expense variance analysis and reporting
• Supervise payroll processes, including special payouts, Christmas bonuses, and profit sharing
• Manage month-end close activities, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support internal controls and assist with internal and external audits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.)
• Administer vendor contracts and manage vendor setup within Oracle
• Provide backup support for the Plant Controller or Finance Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial analyst role
• 3+ years of experience in payroll compliance and supervision
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor and tax laws
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JDEdwards
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent English (B1-C1 level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payroll systems such as TRESS or ADP
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial statement analysis
• Experience with USGAAP and MEXGAAP accrual processes
