Financial Analyst - Commercial

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control monthly budget execution (sales, trade marketing, and marketing) against plan, identifying variations and risks.
• Analyze and validate provisions, accruals, and postmortems to ensure correct reconciliation and credit note approval in Salesforce.
• Prepare monthly financial reports providing visibility on execution vs. planning, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform profitability (P&L) analysis for commercial initiatives and In & Out projects.
• Manage financial control by channel, customer, and category, ensuring correct budget allocation and tracking.
• Participate in monthly closings to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Support audits through documentation and control of commercial activities and customer agreements.
• Act as a financial business partner to Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing teams to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar roles.
• Experience in consumer goods (FMCG) companies is preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas and data analysis).
• Intermediate proficiency in both English and Spanish for reporting and presentations.
• Knowledge of commercial activities such as pricing, ROI, and brand support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or HFM.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in ambiguous environments.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
