Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite financials to provide timely reports for high-volume real estate deals
• Underwrite income-producing assets using ARGUS and/or Excel
• Pull rent and sale comparables and provide detailed market analysis
• Assist with the due diligence process and verify findings
• Perform basic lease abstraction and manage third-party lease abstractors
• Review and interpret various real estate documents including leases, appraisals, and environmental reports
• Present and discuss financial models with brokers and clients
• Assist in developing content and writing presentation packages and offering memoranda
• Gather and track critical financial data points for research and negotiation purposes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related area
• 2-3 years of experience in a related financial or analytical role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a complex team environment and manage tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Senior Living Facilities
• Experience in commercial real estate
• Proficiency with Argus, LoopNet, or CoStar
