Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Participate in the institutional yearly budget process for administration, operational expenses, and CAPEX
• Create institutional templates including historical information and forecasts
• Upload budgets for support and institutional units into Microsoft Dynamics AX/365
• Monitor monthly expenses (Budget vs Actuals) and control variations to prevent over-expenditure
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial management reports
• Monitor D365 project contracts with consultants and outsourcing services
• Manage large Excel databases to provide financial analysis and insights
• Support the Integrated Management Reporting Package (IMRP) and explain main variances
• Collaborate with various organizational areas to obtain necessary budget analysis information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or expense analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and managing large databases
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify financial trends
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and oral)
• Ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities
