Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analyses of operations, including financial statements and supporting schedules
• Track, measure, and improve company financial performance
• Partner with the CFO to administer the annual budget process with division and sales managers
• Recommend and assist with the implementation of process improvements across the organization
• Prepare reports outlining income, margins, expenses, and earnings
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, monitoring monthly variances
• Support profitability and productivity initiatives through KPI establishment and reporting
• Act as a finance liaison with IT to improve and implement financial systems

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related major
• Prior experience with annual budgeting processes and cross-departmental collaboration
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and GAAP
• Proficiency in automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare projections, statements, and reports
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• CMA or CPA certification
