Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform complex account reconciliations and detailed variance analyses
• Participate in monthly and annual closing processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial modeling
• Develop and implement KPIs, reports, and dashboards
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and management teams
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Mentor and support junior members of the accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA designation or eligibility (important asset)
• 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with ERP systems such as D365, Maximo, or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
