Financial Aid Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line, student-centered financial aid support for students and families via walk-in, phone, Zoom, and email.
• Assist students and families in navigating financial aid processes and resolving routine inquiries.
• Ensure the delivery of accurate information and seamless service to maintain a positive student experience.
• Collaborate closely with Financial Aid colleagues and other campus partners to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to student-centered service.
• Knowledge of financial aid processes and federal and state regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Banner and EAB Navigate, or similar SIS/CRM platforms.
• Prior experience in higher education, financial aid, enrollment services, or front-line student support.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to identify operational improvements and contribute to team-based problem-solving.
