Financial Aid Administrator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current students and their families regarding financial aid, documentation, and eligibility.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial aid award notifications for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Manage Georgia state aid programs, including determining eligibility, awarding funds, and performing semesterly reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Accounting teams to provide accurate assistance and support enrollment processes.
• Assist with financial aid appeals, professional judgment reviews, and annual audit preparations.
• Manage financial aid marketing initiatives, including the website, brochures, and recruitment events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a college financial aid program.
• Familiarity with federal and state financial aid regulations.
• Proficiency in Google Suite within a professional setting.
• A commitment to the Christ-centered mission and Reformed identity of Covenant College.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related financial aid field of study.
• Additional specialized or advanced training in financial aid administration.
