About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a personal book of business through client acquisition and prospecting
- Identify prospective clients and develop long-term relationships
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client financial goals and concerns
- Present financial planning recommendations for income protection, wealth building, and retirement
- Use planning software and reporting tools to educate clients
- Maintain and review client plans as their needs evolve
Requirements
- Prior client-facing, sales, or business development experience
- Track record of building relationships and earning trust
- Entrepreneurial ambition and ownership mentality
- Excellent time management and self-discipline
- 4-year degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Located in the Greater St. Louis area or planning to relocate imminently
