Financial Advisor, Investment & Retirement Planning

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of clients to meet investment and retirement planning goals within a retail branch network.
• Conduct in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
• Establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing clients and branch referrals.
• Deliver trusted financial advice and craft personalized financial strategies to solve client needs.
• Foster strong client engagement through education, expert insights, and high-quality service.
• Leverage advanced technology tools to enhance client interactions and streamline planning processes.
• Achieve negotiated deposit and investment sales goals to contribute to the branch team's success.

Requirements

• Successfully completed the CIFP/CFP designation or a bank-recognized equivalent.
• Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing.
• Completion of Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) or a bank-recognized equivalent.
• Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.

• Previous experience in financial planning and investment sales.
