Financial Advisor Intern

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prospect and network to build a client base
• Develop and execute business strategies
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand financial goals
• Prepare financial plans and offer recommendations
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms
• Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings
• Obtain Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses

Requirements

• Full-time student (juniors and seniors preferred)
• Entrepreneurial ambitions and curiosity for sales
• Highly involved on campus (leadership, athletics, or organizations)
• Excellent time-management skills
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools
• Business savvy and critical thinking abilities
