About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and investment planning advice to deliver comprehensive banking solutions in the best interest of customers
  • Determine client needs and provide solutions through the sale of managed products, including mutual funds, ETFs, insurance, and retirement savings plans
  • Implement business development strategies to acquire new business through outbound calling, seminars, and branch referrals
  • Develop and execute relationship management plans in collaboration with lead relationship managers
  • Identify opportunities during customer conversations to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products
  • Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and track performance metrics
  • Ensure strict adherence to risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy
  • Coach and advise team members through joint appointments and sharing product knowledge

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 & 65 Licenses OR FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses
  • Life and Health Insurance Producer’s License
  • Completed LTC Continuing Education requirements
  • In-depth experience with managed products and providing fee-based advice
  • Strong understanding of deposit, loan, and mortgage products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
