Financial Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and investment planning advice to deliver comprehensive banking solutions in the best interest of customers
• Determine client needs and provide solutions through the sale of managed products, including mutual funds, ETFs, insurance, and annuities
• Implement business development strategies to acquire new business through outbound calling, seminars, and branch referrals
• Identify opportunities during customer conversations to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking, lending, and investments
• Develop and implement relationship management plans in collaboration with lead relationship managers
• Support sales and performance targets for new asset sales, fee-based sales, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with all risk, regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements to safeguard customer assets and privacy

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant financial experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field
• FINRA Series 6, 63 & 65 licenses OR FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses
• Life and Health Insurance Producer’s License
• Completed Long-Term Care (LTC) Continuing Education requirements
• In-depth knowledge of managed products and fee-based advice
• Strong understanding of deposit, loan, and mortgage products
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
