Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts across group entities
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, accruals, and prepayments
• Support month-end close processes and ensure reporting accuracy
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Support intercompany reconciliations and group reporting processes
• Assist with VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory reporting information

Requirements

• Part-qualified, finalist, or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in audit, accounts preparation, or financial reporting
• Strong understanding of IFRS
• High attention to detail and strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Currently based in Dubai or willing to relocate to Dubai

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in audit practice with exposure to statutory accounts
• Experience within financial services, wealth management, or insurance
• Experience with multi-entity groups, intercompany balances, or consolidations
• Exposure to UAE VAT or corporate tax processes
• Experience using AccountsIQ, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Oracle NetSuite
