Financial Accountant - General Ledger

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial records by preparing journal entries
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare supporting documentation for balance sheet account reconciliations
• Take ownership of the fixed assets register
• Analyze general ledger accounts to validate journal entries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support to the Senior General Ledger Accountant
• Manage discount invoices and follow-up

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least one year of experience in a finance-related role within an international company
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software
• Experience in an e-commerce environment preferred
• Tech-savvy mindset
• Excellent English and/or German language skills
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for The Netherlands
