Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Initially focus on the implementation of a new Invoice Management System, ensuring compliant processes and workflows according to Swedish Accounting Rules.
• Participate in project tasks including assessing, testing, and evaluating accounting processes.
• Coordinate and communicate with global project teams, finance departments, and local stakeholders.
• Transition into a permanent role within the Accounting and Reporting team, taking ownership of specific areas such as Provisions, Financial Leasing, Tax reporting, or Transfer pricing.
• Lead activities to ensure timely and accurate monthly group reporting and forecasting.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls within assigned financial areas.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting.
• 5 years of experience as a financial accountant.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting rules.
• Expertise in the Purchase to Pay (PtP) process.
• Proficiency with the Medius Invoice Management System.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with various ERP systems.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience in an industrial company.
• Experience working as an auditor.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
