About the role
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reviewing accruals, prepayments and journals
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- Supporting VAT, audit and tax requirements
- Helping to develop and improve financial controls and processes
- Producing cashflow reports and financial analysis
- Working with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight
Requirements
- Min. Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment
