Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Reviewing accruals, prepayments and journals
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Supporting VAT, audit and tax requirements
• Helping to develop and improve financial controls and processes
• Producing cashflow reports and financial analysis
• Working with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight

Requirements

• Min. Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment
