Finance/Financial Crime SME

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for banking technology solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Support technology implementation, system upgrades, and platform migrations.
• Conduct impact assessments for regulatory, operational, and technology changes.
• Support testing, UAT planning, defect triage, and production deployment.
• Analyze data models, data lineage, and perform data mapping between systems.
• Support API, ETL, and messaging integrations while validating data quality.
• Work within Agile or Waterfall methodologies to support sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or financial crime technology within banking or financial services.
• Deep understanding of domains such as AML, KYC, CDD, Fraud Prevention, or Sanctions Screening.
• Experience with Finance Technology including Regulatory Reporting, General Ledger, or Treasury.
• Proficiency in technical tools such as SQL, Python, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data management concepts including Data Mapping, Data Quality, and Data Lineage.
• English language proficiency at a C1 Advanced level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specialized financial software such as AxiomSL, Moody's, or OneSumX.
• Experience with financial crime platforms like NICE Actimize, SAS AML, or Quantexa.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Jira and Confluence.
