Finance/Financial Crime SME

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for banking technology solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Support technology implementation, system upgrades, and platform migrations.
• Conduct impact assessments for regulatory, operational, and technology changes.
• Support testing, UAT planning, defect triage, and production deployment.
• Analyze data models, perform data mapping, and validate data quality and reconciliation processes.
• Work within Agile or Waterfall methodologies to support sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or financial crime technology within banking or financial services.
• Experience in domains such as Regulatory Reporting, AML, KYC, CDD, or Fraud Prevention.
• Proficiency in technical tools including SQL, Python, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data concepts including data mapping, data quality, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, ETL tools, and Data Warehousing.
• Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced English communication skills (C1 level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specific financial software such as AxiomSL, Moody's, or OneSumX.
• Knowledge of financial crime platforms like NICE Actimize, SAS AML, or Quantexa.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with SAP Finance or Workday Financials.
