Finance Systems Product Manager/Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance tax and tax-related systems, focusing on indirect tax engines and services
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Engineering teams to define and embed tax requirements into core platforms
• Own and support ERP tax configuration and maintenance, including tax codes and related setup
• Support the integration and optimization of external tax engines across ERP, billing, and payment systems
• Translate complex tax requirements into clear functional specifications and system logic for technology teams
• Ensure systems support indirect tax compliance, including e-invoicing and real-time reporting mandates
• Define and maintain tax-relevant data models and design automated tax controls within systems

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in tax technology, tax systems, or tax transformation projects within a multinational or digital business
• Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience translating indirect tax requirements into system logic and tax determination rules
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and indirect tax engines (configuration, testing, and resolution)
• Proficiency with automation and data analytics tools such as Alteryx or Power BI
• Strong ability to analyze end-to-end transaction flows and identify data quality or system gaps
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical system logic to non-technical stakeholders
