About the role
Responsibilities
- Review real and personal property accounts to determine proper asset classification
- Identify assets requiring reclassification and update records accordingly
- Split the Asset History / Asset Ledger between real vs. personal property
- Apply all classification reviews and updates to the Asset Tax Ledger
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial records
- Assist in documenting finance department processes and workflows
- Support standardization and clarity of internal finance procedures
Requirements
- 4th-year Accounting major or recent Accounting graduate
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage confidential financial information
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
