Finance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise banking and accounting functions for the General Accounting team, including account reconciliations and process monitoring.
• Perform period-end journal entry preparation in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Conduct month-end close analytical reviews of cash over/short banking.
• Coordinate daily activities and month-end processes to ensure the team meets all deadlines and deliverables.
• Guide and coordinate team development through training and skill enhancement.
• Promote continuous process improvement within the Banking and AP areas.
• Maintain KPIs for both the team and individual team members.
• Manage staffing needs related to organic growth or personnel turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 4 or more years of professional accounting experience.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Proven ability to influence others and promote a culture of process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleSoft.
