Finance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, ensuring proper task distribution and deadline compliance
• Act as a technical point of reference and support for the team to resolve incidents and ensure policy adherence
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor creation, invoice entry, and statement reconciliation
• Prepare payment executions and ensure all relevant invoices are ready for the Assistant Director of Finance
• Ensure compliance with month-end closing deadlines and prepare related journal entries
• Review AP aging reports and justify outstanding amounts
• Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations and prepare departmental expense forecasts
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to resolve issues regarding delivery notes, vendors, and costs
• Support internal and external property audits

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership or people coordination
• Strong analytical skills and a focus on continuous process improvement
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Power BI is a plus)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
