Finance Specialist - General Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, provisions, and reclasses
• Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Support fixed assets accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
• Perform variance analysis for P&L and Balance Sheet
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls (SOX)
• Prepare schedules and support internal and external audits
• Coordinate with AP, AR, and other teams for issue resolution
• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or finance
• 4-7 years of experience in General Ledger and R2R processes
• Proficiency in SAP (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with GST and TDS taxation
• Strong reconciliation and variance analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), CPA, or ACCA
• Experience with banking documentation and compliances
• Experience with ROC returns filing
• Prior experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable
