About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting, time-keeping, payroll, and banking support for the site
- Manage site Petty Cash funds and prepare operational funds requests
- Oversee timekeeping using Deltek Costpoint and provide training to new hires
- Prepare month-end accrual reports, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Audit expense reports for accuracy and ensure correct charge code assignment
- Maintain an auditable filing system and provide financial reports to management
- Coordinate with Supply and Purchasing departments regarding payments and document clearance
- Reconcile site Quicken data files and manage Account Payable vouchers
- Ensure accurate accounting within payroll processes and respond to vendor queries
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of professional accounting experience, including cash handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Windows OS
- Intermediate English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a host nation license
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Finance or a related discipline
