Finance Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the economic and financial advisor to the Project Manager
• Prepare periodic Project Reviews including all relevant financial analysis
• Control and optimize project results through close involvement with Work Package Owners
• Challenge estimates to complete to maximize project margins and mitigate risks
• Manage customer invoicing, cash flow, and implement cash improvement actions
• Manage project bonds and hedging to limit financial exposure
• Provide comprehensive project financial reporting, including orders, forecasts, and weekly cash
• Review and analyze all project-linked Balance Sheet items
• Handle claims administration, including documentation and reporting
• Participate in project meetings and risk analysis sessions regarding financial or contractual aspects
• Control the tender process to ensure estimates are well-supported and compliant with company rules

Requirements

• ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualification, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Project Controlling
• Exceptional accounting and finance knowledge with strong numeracy skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience using integrated financial systems
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to travel to project sites when necessary
