Finance Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as a financial business partner within the project team, providing supervision, analysis, and support for all project finance topics.
• Control financial performance by proposing action plans to improve contract margins and cash profiles.
• Mitigate identified risks and issue "Early Warnings" to management when necessary to increase attention to financial impacts.
• Improve the accuracy of project financial information, including forecasts, revenue, cash, and costs.
• Monitor compliance with governance, reporting rules, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Support the Project Manager in risk and opportunity processes, including contract and claim management.
• Manage and analyze costs, revenue, and profitability while preparing timely financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent university qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a matrix environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strategic thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or a Master’s degree in Finance.
• Previous experience in an auditing or project operational background.
• Experience in a railway company or working on large-scale industrial projects.
