Finance Placement Student

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end accounting preparation, including the preparation and posting of multiple journals
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Prepare indirect and direct tax-related schedules to support filings
• Support the accounting team with external audit queries and documentation
• Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc and statutory financial statement reporting
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice and credit card transaction reviews

Requirements

• Currently studying towards a Finance Qualification
• Methodical, diligent, accurate, and accountable approach to work
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
• Ability to work flexibly and support other members of the Finance team
