Finance OTC Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage credit exposure and support credit approvals in accordance with risk policies
• Process daily cash applications and reconcile transactions against bank statements
• Handle queries from collection agencies and support debt recovery processes
• Maintain accurate debtor records and validate customer data updates
• Produce regular reports and dashboards regarding accounts receivable performance
• Support month-end and year-end reporting, including reconciliations and audit preparation
• Calculate and record bad debt provisions in line with IFRS
• Monitor overdue accounts and work with collections teams to minimize write-offs
• Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and SOX requirements

Requirements

• Experience in Order to Cash (OTC), credit control, or finance operations
• Strong understanding of cash application, collections, and reconciliation processes
• Knowledge of financial reporting and bad debt management
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and various finance systems
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
