Finance Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate finance-related payment operations and reconciliation processes between banks, PSPs, and internal teams.
• Take ownership of banking and PSP onboarding processes, including account openings, integrations, and documentation.
• Support daily monitoring and reconciliation of operational accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage ongoing due diligence and onboarding procedures for financial partners.
• Monitor process quality and cost structures to improve payment flows and operational efficiency.
• Support the preparation of documentation for audits, regulatory requests, and compliance reviews.
• Identify and propose enhancements to banking infrastructure, reconciliation processes, and risk controls.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, payments, or banking/PSP onboarding.
• Strong understanding of EU and Austrian banking operations, payment flows, and KYC/AML processes.
• Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP or finance systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite).
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional projects.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fintech, payments, or the digital assets industry.
• Familiarity with MiCAR safeguarding requirements and payment regulations.
• Experience with bank integrations, APIs, or the automation of finance processes.
• An existing network of banking and PSP contacts within the EU.
