Finance Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely supplier payments
• Manage liquidity across entity bank accounts and coordinate payment runs with the FC and VP of Finance
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate customer billing and monitoring aged debtors
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and support regular settlement of open balances
• Review and sign off month-end close activities across AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
• Act as a key administrator and super-user for finance systems including NetSuite, Expensify, Spendesk, and ZIP
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation and AI-enabled workflows
• Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing AP and AR in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
• Experience managing a small team and overseeing transactional data across multiple currencies
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience with finance systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Proven track record of improving finance operations processes through automation or better controls
• Ability to use AI and automation tools to reduce manual work and improve workflows
• Highly organised with strong stakeholder management skills
