Finance Operations Lead

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND-01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, and vendor payments
• Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
• Build and refine finance workflows, approval chains, and internal controls
• Lead implementation and optimization of finance tools like ERP and expense platforms
• Support internal reporting on actuals, burn, and vendor spend
• Prepare documentation for audit, statutory filings, and compliance reporting
• Partner with FP&A to reconcile plans, actuals, and forecasts

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in finance operations, accounting, or financial control
• Strong technical fluency in bookkeeping, payables/receivables, and close processes
• Experience in early- or growth-stage product businesses (hardware, manufacturing, or deep tech)
• Proven ability to lead process design and system implementation
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, Xero, or other ERP/accounting platforms
• Familiarity with UK/US/Canadian VAT and R&D tax credits
• Background in audit, compliance, or internal controls
• Experience scaling finance functions in venture-backed teams
