Finance Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day execution of the Order-to-Cash cycle, including billing, collections, and AR management.
• Review and validate billing data for accuracy, including usage-based consumption metering and subscription minimums.
• Manage the collections process for overdue accounts, track aging balances, and drive down Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Perform cash application and support daily and monthly reconciliations between billing, AR, and the general ledger.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries and invoice disputes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and contribute to scalable process development.
• Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations and Delivery teams to resolve complex billing matters.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable.
• Strong numerical aptitude and a highly organized, structured approach to data.
• Proficiency in navigating CRM and invoicing platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Proven track record of handling financial data with high precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle customer collections professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS consumption-based billing.
• Experience with subscription billing platforms or ERP systems.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation to eliminate manual billing tasks.
