Finance Officer - Payment Solutions

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation and optimization of the airline’s payment infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, transaction flows, and error rates to minimize disruptions.
• Assist in integrating new payment technologies, including digital wallets and alternative payment methods.
• Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors on system testing, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Support the implementation of fraud detection tools and chargeback management systems.
• Act as a primary point of contact for payment service providers, banks, and financial institutions.
• Evaluate vendor performance through analysis of authorization rates, processing fees, and service quality.
• Support reconciliation processes by investigating discrepancies in settlements, refunds, and disputes.
• Utilize Excel and Power BI to create reports and dashboards highlighting payment performance metrics.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes regarding payment processing, data privacy, and consumer protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payment solutions, financial services, or e-commerce.
• Knowledge of payment gateways, merchant accounts, and alternative payment methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be a UAE National.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Databricks databases.
