Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused procurement and finance support to the VPR portfolio
• Process purchase requisitions, receipting, and purchase-to-pay activities in compliance with institutional policies
• Act as the main point of contact for purchase order, invoice, and payment-related queries
• Develop, maintain, and update costing and pricing for research infrastructure services
• Coordinate with Core Labs, Platform teams, and Business Partners to prepare accurate project-based quotations
• Prepare, issue, and process customer and supplier invoices
• Monitor invoice status through to payment and ensure timely settlement
• Ensure correct financial coding and allocation of costs
• Maintain accurate records and support audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, or business administration
• 4 years of experience in finance, procurement, or administrative support
• Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Understanding of procurement policies, compliance, and financial controls
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Ability to extract, review, and reconcile financial data
