Finance Manager/Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function to ensure month-end close is completed within 3 business days across 15 global entities
• Manage revenue and expense booking, inter-company transfer pricing, accruals, and journal entries
• Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cashflow Statements
• Coordinate tax compliance, including sales tax and VAT calculations, reporting, and filing across Canada, the USA, and the EU
• Partner with external tax professionals for year-end preparation, corporate filings, and tax optimization
• Implement automation and modern tooling to replace manual, repetitive tasks and build scalable financial systems

Requirements

• Strong foundation in finance and accounting
• Proven experience managing month-end close processes
• Ability to prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities
• Knowledge of sales tax and VAT compliance
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
• Experience working with automation, modern financial tooling, and scalable systems
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a global or multi-entity corporate structure
• Ability to navigate complex, unique, or ambiguous financial problems independently
