Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Calculate and monitor product costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Manage inventory accounting in SAP, including reconciliations and adjustments
• Reconcile physical inventory, production data, and system records
• Ensure revenue accuracy through reconciliation of sales orders, payments, and unearned revenue
• Support external audits, SOX compliance, and internal control reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, inventory, or metals
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of cost accounting principles
• Experience with inventory accounting, product costing, procurement reporting, and financial analysis
• Strong ERP experience, with SAP experience strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• CPA, CMA, or similar professional designation
• Experience supporting SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit processes
