Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly group management accounts and consolidations
• Support intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
• Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Assist with technical accounting matters under IFRS, including revenue recognition and leases
• Design, document, and monitor group financial controls
• Support internal audit activities and coordinate external audit queries
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and automation initiatives
• Liaise with finance teams across the Group to ensure reporting consistency

Requirements

• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
• Completed articles at a recognised audit firm (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
• Exposure to group reporting or multi-entity environments
• Experience in e-commerce, online travel, or technology-enabled businesses
• Experience with consolidation tools, ERPs, or BI tools
