Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process, including accruals, account reconciliations, and deferred revenue schedules.
• Manage the end-to-end invoicing cycle for over 300 clients, including creation, distribution, and collections.
• Maintain clean AR records and coordinate with financial advisors on remittances, disputes, and tax documentation.
• Prepare weekly cash flow schedules, rolling forecasts, and recurring financial reports segmented by sport and client.
• Enter and maintain athlete contracts, deal terms, and commission structures within internal systems.
• Partner with FP&A to build financial models and support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong command of AR, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume data accurately.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with agents and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a sports agency, talent management, entertainment, or professional sports organization.
• Familiarity with athlete contracts, NIL deals, and commission structures.
• Experience with Airtable or other workflow/database platforms.
• Experience supporting union reporting or multi-entity financial environments.
