Finance Manager, Payments

Responsibilities

• Own crypto-asset and fiat finance, treasury, and accounting priorities including revenue models and liquidity management
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align financial infrastructure with payments and settlement flows
• Build financial models to support pricing decisions, product launches, and strategic initiatives
• Optimize financial systems and reporting by implementing system enhancements for crypto and fiat fund flows
• Analyze crypto transactions and prepare regular reporting related to customer and company metrics
• Manage fiat, bitcoin, and digital asset liquidity across global entities, banks, and custodians
• Execute internal transfers, fiat wires, bitcoin transactions, and exchange conversions
• Implement scalable processes and controls for reconciliations, settlements, and cash reporting
• Leverage AI/ML and automation tools to streamline reconciliations and enhance forecasting accuracy

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in finance roles including analysis, operations, treasury, or systems in fintech or payments
• Experience in a regulated payments fintech or crypto company
• Experience with financial regulatory filings for licensed entities (e.g., state MTLs, FCA/EMI)
• Familiarity with both traditional payment rails (SWIFT, ACH, SEPA) and digital asset flows (Bitcoin, Lightning Network)
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, BigQuery, or Looker
• Familiarity with GAAP principles, specifically revenue recognition and fair value measurements
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, California

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying AI/ML in financial forecasting, anomaly detection, or compliance reporting
• Exposure to API-based banking and exchange integrations
• Experience navigating a fast-paced startup environment
