About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and operationalization of Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Revenue Accounting functions within the Shared Services Center (SSC).
  • Oversee end-to-end OTC processes including billing, invoicing, cash application, collections, credit control, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage revenue accounting activities such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accruals in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Partner with commercial, sales, and operations teams to support monthly revenue targets and business performance.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance working capital and DSO metrics.
  • Establish and maintain strong governance, internal controls, and SOX compliance frameworks.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards to track financial performance.
  • Build, lead, and develop a scalable OTC organization within the SSC environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in OTC, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Accounting.
  • Mandatory experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, financial controls, and SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA, or ICAEW.
  • Prior experience in SSC setup, transition, or migration projects.
  • Experience managing regional or global operations.
